| A few of Jack Corbett's strip club observations 1. Strip clubs that do not have web sites are backward and should be colonized. 2. If a strip club does not offer food no matter how basic, it's owners are brain dead because sooner or later its customers will leave to eat elsewhere. 3. Avoid all clubs charging too much for drinks. It's owners are too greedy and anyone carrying the big letter G on his forehead deserves to go out of business. (You will find I have often typed the bar prices in red in club listings here. Consider this a red flag). 4. Those strip clubs listed which book feature entertainers should often be viewed as ahead of the curve since this shows it is interested as well as being financially able in raising the bar of the profession 5. Avoid all clubs whose dancers look worse than your Aunt Mary. 6, Don't just visit a club because it's listed here. Call first unless you just happen to be in the area. From my observations during a two to three year period around 50 % of all clubs go out of business for one reason or the other. |

Additional comments: I called The Tea House just to verify it's open for business and had an interesting talk with Craig, its owner, who answered the phone. First off, Craig said: "We are not a strip club. I hate that term. After telling me his club was a private club, he explained the way he did business. By private club, he explained, he personally screened every potential customer before letting him in the door. His club does not use bouncers because along with other club owners I know well, he believes bouncers cause lots of problems. Craig values to the utmost a girl who can really dance and put on a show. His girls are not to be manhandled--therefore, a better type of girl will want to work for him . This club has been in business for more than twenty years. So I got all this good info on what started as a thirty second phone call. Lastly he explained that his club did not have a web site, which goes to show you cannot take everything I say here too seriously. Next time I'm in Ohio I'll probably stop by this club even though it will probably be well off my beaten path.
