The Jack Corbett Guide to Massachusetts topless clubs uses a unique five star rating system to evaluate Massachusetts strip clubs to save you valuable time so that you can find the clubs that serve your needs best.

Here's the way it works.  If I think a club averages 15 or more dancers per shift, this club gets a star as I believe the best clubs will be able to attract and to keep a large enough number of girls to provide variety to its customers.  2.  If a club does not have a web site, then I believe that club's ownership is brain dead, so---no star.  3.  If a club has feature entertainers I believe that club is going the extra mile to provide that little extra level of entertainment to its customers--so yes, that club is going to get a star.  4.  If a club charges more than six bucks for a drink or beer, then I'm thinking that club owner--owners is greedy, and "Oh no, no gold star for you."   5.  Lastly, when you have customers in your club, particularly at night, at some point they are going to get hungry, and when they do if you don't have food, they are going to leave and usually not come back that night.  So it makes good business sense to serve food even if it's something simple.

That's for your drinks.  If you buy a dancer a drink it will run you $30.00 according to a dancer from the St. Louis area who worked out of state for this Massachusetts Club.  According to her (she was here 1 year to 2 years ago), dancers made only around 10 % of what you pay for the drinks.  Is this justified?  Or is the club being greedy?  According to the dancer she only had to pay the D.J. a tip out and got paid a small salary by the club.  Okay.....that's a big difference too.  So the club might be just trying to cover its costs and make the small profit it feels entitled to.  So it is really all up to your, the customer of the club, to decide if you think the club is worthy of your paying your hard earned dollars to support it.  But this is true about any club in any state.

My sources say the Gold Club did not want to renew its license and has closed its doors.  Now I really don't know what the hell happened since I live near St Louis but if I were to guess I'd say the Mothers for a More Boring Nation just got their way.  Keep in mind that there are a lot of card carrying men in the Mothers for a More Boring Nation.  You know the types--men and women driving their minivans back from Church white knuckling it since they are timid souls in traffic who think they are going to live for ever.  And who would want to?  I certainly wouldn't if I were them living in their miserable petty shells of subhuman matter.  Anyway, these are the people who think we should all live in a repressive society just because they want to feel some semblance of control in their petty existences through seeking control over others.  These are the people who try to close down clubs and who put on their billboards--"Porn is bad. It creates crime." 

Hey--I got a club owner friend in Indiana who was persecuted by the Mothers for a More Boring Nation for over ten years.  Excise, the Indiana liquor commission has been trying to close him for over ten years and they finally got the job done on a technicality occurring in another state.  So......although I have no idea what happened to the Gold Club, never been in the Gold Club, and might not be in this state for the next few years, I have a hunch that the Mothers for a More Boring Nation took this place down.

I haven't been here but it looks like my kind of place. Almost made four stars.  No web site, but that's the owner's problem-- not mine.   And nearly makes the Jack Corbett benchmark of a minimum of 15 girls.  Might make a great neighborhood bar with drinks at just three bucks like the club that is close to me.  And it doesn't quite have 15 dancers either, but there were some lookers last night and a $3.00 a drink, I had a great time (at the place near home in East St. Louis that is). Paying six dollars a drink or more is simply not worth it when there are other places around to play with the babes and have a few for a lot less.
