Science Center is connected directly to the Planetarium which combined
gives kids and adults an educational and rewarding experience. It was not the prettiest day to be taking pictures of the St Science Center and other treasures throughout Forest Park but I had THE camera along, the new Canon G-2, and I was itching to test it out. After taking it out of the box I had stayed home experimenting with it at Jack's Hangover Haven (my apartment) on a Saturday night no less. But could it really hang in there with film? I'd miss the zoo this day but that will have to wait until next time. I did manage to get to the Missouri History Museum where I'd wind up purchasing a large and expensive book about the 1904 World's Fair. And end up testing the Canon G-2 out on its photographs, using the digital camera like a scanner to get the images for my World's Fair Section. Taking pictures of pretty women would come later. I knew it would only be a matter of several days. For now, I'd be doing my own scientific research, once again revisiting one of my favorite places, taking pictures on a cloudy day, gleaning information wherever I could, to put it all together into a cohesive and hopefully useful web site to those interested in finding out more about the St Louis area.
